In this week’s edition of our Apps of the Week roundup we have a beautiful music app, a powerful screenshot manager and a no frills habit tracker. And as always, we’ve selected two great games for you to check out.
Vinyls
Vinyls is a beautiful music player with a nostalgic twist. Features include a beautiful interface and animations, clever gestures, widget and AirPlay support, and much more. You can even scrub the vinyl to rewind or fast forward. Requires Apple Music account for some features.
Flyscreen – Screenshot Manager
FlyScreen is a powerful tool for managing your screenshots. Easily search through your screenshots, copy text and find similar images in your library. The app uses secure, on-device machine learning that is both private and powerful. Worth checking out if you screenshot…a lot.
Flat Habits
Flat Habits is a habit tracker that gets out of your way. It focuses on just you and your habits—no social, no analytics, no cloud or account to sign into. Just get sh*t done. Features include the ability to set daily/weekly habits, alerts, streaks, search and filter, data export and more.
Cobra Kai: Card Fighter
Cobra Kai: Card Fighter is part Collectible Card Game (CCG), part turn-based fighter based off the popular Cobra Kai TV series (who saw that coming?). The game features fast-paced card fighting action with customizable and upgradable decks, recruitment strategies and more.
The Roman Empire
The Roman Empire is an award-winning real-time strategy game originally published in 2012 on PC. The fast-paced strategy game tasks you, as a new Caesar, with conquering all of Europe. There are 48 different maps with unique graphics and tactical terrain features. Check it out!
