We’ll be the first to admit that we tend to be extremely picky when it comes to card games. Most of the time simple classics like solitaire is what you’ll find us playing, but occasionally we’ll venture out and try something new.

The interface is very user-friendly, and we instantly fell in love with the main screen itself. Graphics are very appealing and detailed too, making Junglee Rummy a gorgeous game to play.
Features:
When it comes to features, Junglee Rummy certainly has a lot going for it. We really like its super smooth gameplay and the option of free of interactions with other players aside from playing with them at 2 or 6 seat tables.
Junglee Rummy provides hundreds of free and cash tables, so you can enjoy thrilling rummy games whether you want to just chill playing free games or win some real cash.
Another big plus for this live game is that there are always thousands, if not tens of thousands, of players online at any time. This is great as it insures that you’ll always be able to play a game of your choice, at any time.

Dungeons & Zombies is exactly the kind of title you’d expect at this time of year: a cutesy, vaguely spooky twist on an existing casual genre, to capitalize on the Halloween festivities.
However, scratch under the surface and you’ll find an altogether tougher proposition than first impressions might suggest. Like a midnight triple bill of scary movies, Dungeons & Zombies is not for the faint of heart.
The gameplay is based on Sokoban, a puzzle genre in which you have to slide things around on a grid. In this case, the thing you’re sliding is a little girl, and the grid is a series of dungeons.
Every dungeon contains its own features and hazards, such as pillars, pools of water, and - most pertinently - zombies. The aim is to navigate the features, avoid the hazards (i.e., the zombies), and reach the stone staircase that takes you to the next stage.
If left undisturbed, zombies are perfectly harmless. Unfortunately, you can’t venture into the same row or column as a zombie without alerting it to your presence, at which point you have just one move to get out of the way. As long as you move out of that row or column, the zombie will skate past you and stop at the next obstacle it meets.
Unfortunately, you can’t escape a room if a zombie happens to be facing the exit, so the game basically involves using the natural inclination of the zombies to dart, with a slight delay, in your direction to shepherd them out of your path and away from the exit.
In the first few stages you’ve only got the zombies to worry about, but the game soon adds further elements - brains that attract zombies, pulling them away from you for one move; piles of bones that you have to remove by directing zombies at them, and fires that are impassable to you, but not to zombies.
There are 120 dungeons to complete, though only 60 of these are available with the basic download. You have to pay for the other two sets of 30.
Dungeons & Zombies is difficult, but it gives you lots of tools for getting around tricky stages. For one thing, there are solutions, step-by-step guides to completing stages in the fewest possible moves.
You get five of these, and they refill over time. And if that’s not enough, you can buy packs of five for 99p, or watch an ad in exchange for one.
For another thing, you don’t need to unlock the majority of stages. The first 18 are open, with the remaining 12 becoming available when you get 25 stars. This means you’ve always got somewhere to go if you’re hopelessly stuck.
Of course, the best solution is the one you work out for yourself, and in time you’ll get the knack of Dungeons & Zombies, however impenetrable it seems at first. The trick is to work out where you need the zombies to end up, and then work backwards from that point.
While Dungeons & Zombies is definitely a challenging and fairly original puzzle game, it could do with a few more elements to keep it interesting. Brains, bones, and fires are all introduced fairly quickly, and there are few surprises after that.
If you’re after a casual gaming experience - a hypnotically relaxing puzzler like Candy Crush - you may find Dungeons & Zombies a bit of a shock. While developer Manic Player has provided ways to relieve the frustration, it should arguably have been a bit easier in the first place.
Dungeons & Zombies shouldn’t be mistaken for a throwaway casual puzzler. Gamers looking for some light, Halloween-themed relief are in for a shock. However, if you’re brave enough to take on a proper puzzle gaming challenge, you should definitely give it a try.

Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is an incredibly creative, bloody and violent puzzle game that revolves around the gory exploits of horror icon Jason Voorhees.
Features:
Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle, from Blue Wizard Digital LP, easily lives up to its association with Jason with an outrageous amount of blood and gore.
Yes, it is definitely a really fun, challenging, and entertaining puzzle game but the unless you have a strong stomach we urge you to stay away.
For those seeking true halloween horror, however, this app is the real deal. You can opt for G-rated gore or go full tilt with R-rated gore. For those brave enough to hack it (pun intended), we strongly encourage you to suck it up and go for the gusto with R-rated.
Control within the app is via finger swiping and making sure you’re on the right line of floor tiles to get to your victim. Since you can only move in a straight line you have to plan ahead.
Don’t worry about figuring out how to play, just dive in. If you do get stuck mom will offer some motherly advice to get you back on track.
Making sure you’re able to get to all the poor bastards who are there for your murderous enjoyment so you can build up your bloodlust is only part of the challenge.
You also have to time slicing/hacking/chopping the final girl just right or you’ll miss.
Appearance and Layout:
This game is a thrill for anyone with memories of Jason horror movies. With weapon upgrades and special effects background sounds, screams and smooth video, you’ll find yourself unwilling to put this suckr’ down.
The graphics of Friday the 13th are perfect for getting into the mood to go on sick murder marathons and unlock achievements.
The overall layout of Friday the 13th is easy to navigate with all movements and options simple enough to avoid disturbing your reign of terror.
Value:
This is a free app. It offers a fun, fast-paced challenge for anyone who enjoys retro graphics and quick thinking.
While the game is free, there are plenty of extras you can buy to enhance your gameplay. We appreciate the fact that none of the bundles, additional episodes, weapons or different Jasons cost much.
At a time when $99 IAPs are disappointedly all too common, your options here are all $0.99 or $1.99 and the bundle that gives you all episodes, unlocks all Jasons, and one box of weapons is only $4.99.
It’s an easy game to understand and a bloody blast to play. There are ads after you complete a level, but nothing too intrusive.
Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle iPhone app requires iOS 9.3 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.

Ball Merger is challenging enough as a math-related skill game, but the overabundance of ads makes it almost unplayable.
Features:
As suggested by its name, Ball Merger, by AppGuru, is definitely a fresh idea in the app store and is a game where numbers matter but not as much as a deft touch with the controls.
Specifically, players in this challenging app are given the task of shooting balls to a matching number in order to merge similar balls together. If you do this you get higher tiles, and reach a high score.
However, just knowing what number to merge isn’t enough to dominate in this game. Instead, the sensitivity of the shooter can make it so that you can’t actually, with any reasonable amount of skill, shoot the ball exactly where you want to.
This app would definitely benefit from an overhaul of the UI, the way players control the ball and the ways that points are scored. We like varying levels of difficulty but it has to start with well executed player controls.
We would also like to see the ads scaled back. We totally understand that devs need to earn a return for their efforts but like too many “free” games, the ads are out of control.
As a whole, we found this game to be fresh and fun but in need of some polish. It is a simple concept, but it definitely takes awhile to get the hang of. In-app instructions are decently clear, but there is still a learning curve when first starting out.
Appearance and Layout:
Just as Ball Merger has a pretty simplistic concept of gameplay, the artwork within the app is very simple as well. Things are kept to a minimum; during games most of playing area takes up the majority of your screen, with a small portion dedicated to showing scores.
Of course with this relatively simple game detailed designs really aren’t needed; the simplicity of the graphics matches perfectly with the overall feeling of the app. There’s nothing spectacular here but then again there doesn’t need to be.
Getting around the app is easy to do as well; a home screen shows you a few navigational options to get you oriented when first starting out.
Value:
Ball Merger is a free app and it costs $2.99 to remove the ads. It features simple graphics and fun gameplay, and while it might take new players a bit of time to really get the hang of, it’s definitely a game that will delight anyone who loves a good pick-up-and-play game.
The game is certainly worth checking out and if it’s to your liking, you’d do well to pony up the three bucks and remove the ads.
Ball Merger requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

It’s no secret that the camera built into your iPhone is an amazing device. This goes for its physical construction, a true innovation in materials and manufacturing technique, as well as the software that controls it.
In old-style video cameras the image you point your camera at, whether in focus or not, is projected onto the silver halide of the film loaded into it.
More recent video cameras used magnetic media to store images in a helical pattern on the tape as it moves across the recording head. Standard formats for recording on magnetic tape were/are VHS, BetaMax, 8mm and more.
For digital video cameras the considerations are a bit different.
Better quality cameras, including those built into smartphones, collect the light coming in through the lenses and create a video data file.
Once you have your video file, regardless of the format, the real interesting work is just beginning. As with old light-sensitive film, it’s post production editing that really matters and lets the artists among you truly express yourselves.
With film it’s all about your work in the edit room. With digital files it’s all about the software you use to manipulate the resulting file.
This is where 24FPS – Video Filter & LUT, from Polarr, Inc., shines.
If you’re looking to shoot videos with a cinematic look, you need the filters that do that. It also helps to have a LUT (Look Up Table) that lets you properly change the colors of the images. This app give you both.
From adjusting HSL, temperature, and highlights to stabilizing footage, to special effects such as face thinning and realistic skin smoothing and laying down an audio track, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to give your work a professional look.
In addition to all the controls and filters at your fingertips, 24FPS also features an AI component that makes day-to-day working with the app even easier to the best results with the least amount of work.
The final kicker is that on the latest hardware you can actually do all of this and more while recording and saving filtered videos with no delay.
Overall 24FPS is an incredible app with its filters, special effects and full editing suite that any aspiring videographer would do well to add to their toolset.
Note that while the app is free to download and includes a 7 Day Free Trial, to use it after that you have to subscribe to one of the plans available; $3.99 per month or $28.99 per year.
24FPS – Video Filter & LUT requires iOS 12.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
Apple App Store Rating: 4.7
