Rocket League Sideswipe’s latest patch aims to fix crashing issue

The mobile version of Rocket League is quite a hit! Rocket League Sideswipe was launched last week and its first season is in full swing. So far, the game has managed to get a high rating of 4.7/5.0 stars on Google Play.

And the coolest thing about Rocket League Sideswipe is that it supports external controllers. This means you can use your Xbox, PS, or even Razer Kishi to play. Check out how to connect your controllers here!

Compared to other new games that were released this year, Rocket League Sideswipe had a rather smooth launch. It didn’t have any major glitches or problems, though there were a few reports of unusual vibrations during a match and sometimes region pinging would take too long.

Despite the smooth launch, Rocket League Sideswipe had a bumpy ride on the Google Pixel 6 and a few Android 12 devices. Some of these users claimed that the game crashed right after it started, while others said that the application would close during a match.

To tackle these issues, Rocket League Sideswipe tweeted about new patch notes earlier today. Patch 1.0.3 will resolve most of these issues. You can see the official tweet here:

The new patch will address the abrupt app crashes. Hopefully, the region pinging will now only take up a few seconds. Logins with Epic Games have been made smoother and the decal display has been fixed and so is the hoop scoring.

You can update Rocket League Sideswipe on Google Play and the App Store. If you have the Epic Games app, you can update it from there too. You can download and play the game for free.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1: The Island has Flipped and Spiderman’s swinging by!

Fortnite Chapter 3 has rolled out and the internet is buzzing with excitement. Chapter 2 had a rather flipping end with a bunch of new additions to the gameplay. There’s a new weather system, locations, and a pass loaded with cool rewards.

Perhaps, the most exciting part is the new skins – including Spiderman! Along with Spiderman, there is The “Lotus Walker” Shanta, Ronin, Lt John Llama, Gumbo, Harlowe, Haven, and The Foundation (based on Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. The Rock).

The map has been overturned and it has a lot of new locations and landmarks. Condo Canyon and Butter Barn are sure to be hot drops. For some off-road races, you can visit the Chonker’s Speedway. You can spot a statue of The Foundation (The Rock) in the Sanctuary.

The gameplay has been tweaked a bit and new aspects have been added. Now, your in-game avatar can swing from one top to another. You can also come sliding down a slope and while sliding, you can shoot. These new movements will definitely suit Spiderman’s new skin.

The new season Flipped has introduced some new weapons. You can try out the new Stinger SMG, Sidearm Pistol, Ranger Assault Rifle, Striker Pump Shotgun, MK-Seven Assault Rifle, Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper, and Auto Shotgun.

The “camps” can be created during a battle on the battlefield. It is a small structure that can be used to store items and heal your teammates. This also means that you’ll be able to loot the deserted camps.

Finally, you get to keep a Victory Crown if you win often in modes other than Battle Royale. For this prestigious crown, you have to rank high.

Rocket League Sideswipe’s pre-season has ended and all ranks have been reset. But here’s the great news – season 1 is officially on and a new event has arrived! Turbo Season has already kicked off and will last until January 25th.

The Crossover Event has new challenges and rewards. Meanwhile, the season 1 Rocket Pass is packed with loads of attractive rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about the new season, event, and the pass.

Rocket League Sideswipe Crossover Event and Challenges

The Crossover Event is probably a one-of-its-kind event. Whatever you unlock in Rocket League Sideswipe, will be added to your Rocket League account too.

In the event, you have to complete two challenges to unlock exclusive rewards. And these rewards will be unlocked on PC and console too. For instance, the Nuhai Inverted Wheels obtained in Sideswipe will also be usable in Rocket League.

The Crossover Event has two challenges:

• Win 20 online matches
