As your train speeds ahead you must try to pick out the trees, bushes, rock formations, and other objects that are on one side of the tracks and not the other. If you miss a difference or tap incorrectly, your train will get delayed. If it gets delayed too much it will disappear from sight and the game will be over. You can pull the emergency brake to slow things down for a bit when things get hectic and get your thoughts straight. The game includes eight environments, iCloud integration, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Modern Magic Ball ( $0.99 → Free ) Hayden Watson Modern Magic Ball is an updated version of everyone’s favorite fortune-telling device. Just ask a yes or no question, tap the 8 button or shake your device, and receive an answer. You can choose to receive classic responses, new responses, or create your own. The app also includes various themes and icon designs to choose form, Smart Invert and VoiceOver support, Apple Watch support, and eight languages to choose from.

In this week’s edition of our Apps of the Week roundup we have an app that makes quick work of turning Tweets into images, a proper poker instructor, and a new platform for building your credit score. And as always, we’ve selected two great games for you to check out.

Tweet 2 Image is exactly what it sounds like, an app that turns tweets…into images. All it takes is a link to the tweet and you can add replies, change the background color and then you can share the image virtually anywhere. I love the idea, enough obviously that I mentioned it here, but I think the price tag is going to turn some folks off.

Learn Poker Hands

Now I know this is more of a niche app, but hear me out on why I think Learn Poker Hands is worth checking out. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill “3 of a kind beats a pair” poker app. It’s more of “what is the likelihood the next card improves your hand” kind of apps. I think it can be helpful to everyone from novices to veteran players.

So here’s an interesting concept. Perch Credit promises to help you build your credit by taking things like on-time rent payments and turning them into credit-worthy data. And soon you’ll be able to do this with subscriptions payments, so yes, paying for things like Spotify and Netflix each month will help you build your credit.

Uncover an intriguing story full of mystery and wonder. IrisFall is a puzzle game that uses light and shadow, 2D and 3D and other effects to create a unique gameplay experience. There’s not much else really to say here, but if you’re into artsy/indie games this one seems worth checking out.

In the game your child is asked to help Toby reach his home by balancing bridges. In order to do so they’ll have to add and detach numbered weights to complete formulas. The game includes 30 levels that follow core curriculum standards.

Photobox Widget ( $0.99 → Free ) Nam Le Photobox Widget will help you personalize your iPhone or iPad. It allows you to create photo slideshows and place them right on your home screen. Simply create photo collections within the app, and then add widgets to your home screen with a long press. The widgets can be customized to include different photo collections and intervals. You’re also able to display the date, add text, and shuffle the order.
